Fellow Ranchers,
I'm just wondering am I ready for the exam Nov. 19, 2000.
Here's where I am at.
On Mocks
1.) Marcus Green's 1st and 2nd ( 71% and a 76%)
2.) Java RoundUp (90-100% all the time)
3.) Jxam (75-80%) But I've used it as a learning tool
(i.e. I remember alot of the answers)
4.) Khalid's Exam(62%) - That was with me taking all of the time
and trying very hard.
5.) JCertify - (86%) But I've taken it 4-5 times
6.) Jawbroski's - (75-85%) But I've taken it alot.
I've been studying for about two months and I am to the point where I'm very familar with everything but I'm still not sure about Threads because I haven't really run into a lot of thread questions in the Mocks that I have taken.
Please give me any advice whether you think I sound ready and where I can get more thread experience.

Hello Travis,
Threads are most important thing in the exam. You are sure to get atleast 4-5 questions on that. And usually these questions are trickier. I do not know which resource is best for threads learning. I think the core Java book has some detailed stuff about threads. Also RHE(Robert and Heller) is good.
The mocks do not give as much coverage to Threads as asked in the exam.
Well i suggest check out levteck.com. This website has a lot of links for mocks and resources. There is one test by Varivelu which contains good questions. But beware, do not go by the score it shows at the end. I think the marking system is a bit messed up over there. But questions are good for preparation.
All the best for ur exam
