I wanted to know what are the packages we should be through with while preparing for SCJP. What I got from FAQ's and query's posted by other people is that "lang,io,awt" are the ones to concentrate. Does this mean we should not at all touch others or we should have a birds eye view of rest of the packages.
grateful for help on this

Read the following packages( but not all the classes in them ) -
java.io
java.lang
java.util
java.awt
java.awt.event
You can safely ignore the other packages for the SCJP exam.

Mr.Ahith!
Do I need to go through all classes and its constructors, methods of above said packages. Can you identify important class and its methods?
