I have always found search engines to be a usefulk way to find general stuff on the net. One of the benefits of a search engine is instant gratification rather than just hoping for a response on a discussion forum. Of course a discussion forum is an excellent way to ask very specific questions.
I just tried google.com and it showed links to just the kind of information you are looking for on this very site.
