Hi Jane....
I am in trouble with the shift operators. I saw one of ur responses in a post ....... in which u have given some generalized formulas..... I tried to work it out...but could not... can u "PLEASE" give an example for EACH case with both positive & negative numbers.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Aru,
The examples are '2 to the power of 5' not '25'.
Just for your peace of mind; I wrote the exam today and did not have to resort to knowing the formulas . The questions, for the most part, involved low values which were easy to work out it binary.
Hope that helps.
