Hi all Gurus:
I am considering take the SCPJ exam. However before I can make final decision, the ultimal question is whether SCPJ can help your career? Is SCPJ widely respected among the JAVA community?
Anybody who had SCPJ or knows about SCPJ is welcomed to give me some suggestion or his/her own experience.
Thanks all

Hi,
I just got my SJCP this morning, and if you are not already working, it improves your job prospects tenfold if not more, and if you are already working, expect a nice payrise.
It seems to be quite commonly known that a small percentage of people who take the exam get it first time, so if you have it on your cv, you will help you go to the top of the pile. Experience is the most valuable thing, so go for a mixture of experience and SJCP.
Good luck

If you get SCJD it would be even better, but you need to be scjp first.
