Dear All,
Hey,
I have a question from the JXam Simulator version 2.0. I have answered it as --true--.
But the applet says the correct answer is --false--.
Q.Only frames can contain menubars or pull down menus.

RHE says on page 335 that :
" Pull-down menus are accessed via a menu bar, which may contain multiple menus. Menubars may only appear in frames. (Therefore pull down menus also may only appear in frames.) "

Considerig the above statement, I think my answer is correct.
Any comments!
Also, I scored 71% in this mock exam. The correct/total ratio is 42/59. So I wanted to know whether this mock exam ( JXam Version 2.0) is designed keeping in mind the new pattern affective from 4th October 2000,or is it pointing at the old pattern. I am asking this because, if the old pattern is followed, then I should not be very happy on the result, as I have just passed on the border line, otherwise i will be happy to know my progress up the staires.
Thanks in Advance!!!
Bye,
Tualha Khan

well tualaha,
as far as your second question is concerned... am giving the exam on the 5ht so can't say anything on my own right now. but yea, following the mails of the certified programmers on tihs very site, it seems that the marcus green's exams(2) and the jxam are s'pposed to be the closest that come to the real thing. so i guess that answers your question...

Hi Tualha Khan,
Sorry I have deleted my earlier post because. In that post I have pointed out PopupMenu Can be added to all the component.
(Not only to the Frame).
But Later I have seen in your Question that is PulldownMenu not Popup Menu So thought it is not relevant to your post.
Anyway the author of Jxam also mention in his explanation regarding that question he has received a lot of mails regarding
that question. But according him MenuBar Or PullDown Menu can
only added to the Frame.
I dont have Much info about that.
Again I am very sorry for your Inconvenient.
Regards
Siva.

I got he answer for the menubar question. The answer is false. The reason for the answer being false is that, the frame can have menubars and pull down menu's fine, but apart from frame, a menu can also have a pull down menu. A very small distinction, but it is there. Hence the answer for this is --- FALSE ---
Thanks to all,
Bye,
