Can anyone help me how to check for end of line character? What's the eol character and how do i check for it

You need the new line escape character : '\n'
To check for it you can call a method on your String object that is your text.
eg.
String myText = "jklnkljnkjlnkljnkjln \n jnknlkjnulinuin";
int i = myText.indexOf( "\n" );
