Hi,
I want to know about "what is happening at compile time and Run time", can anyone give a good link?
Thanks,
Vanitha.

Well from observing my co-workers here what I think:
Compile time:
Picking nose,
Scratching butt,
Hoping for no syntax errors.

Useful Link

Run time:
Picking brain,
Scratching head,
Wondering what went wrong during compile time!

Helpful Link

Regards,
Manfred.

Compile time basically converts ur java code into byte code
Run time interprets the byte code on a java virtual machine.
Compile time is a one time process whereas every run will cause the byte code to be interpreted by Java Virtual machine.
Hope this clears the doubt

Hi,
Thanks for your replies, actually I want to know when compile time error occurs and when run time error occurs, I think I didn't ask properly in my previous post.
Vanitha.

Jay, read the FAQs

Yeah, but how did the squirrel get in there? Was it because of the tiny ad?
