Hi,
In Khalid Mughal`s book it is written that
"Private methods cannot be overriden in subclasses."
Is the statement correct.I dont think so.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Syed.

Private methods cannot be overridden in subclasses because they are not visible in subclasses (see JLS 8.4.6.1). Overriding implies participation in Polymorphism and this does not happen when you introduce a method that happens to have the same signature as a private method in a superclass. Even though they have the same signature, the two methods are totally unrelated.

Thanks Junilu,
I am going to give my certification papers next week.
Can anybody give me last minute tips for preparation and links to study notes.
Syed.
