I just want to clarify that no posts were deleted from this thread until Anthony became hostile. It was at that point that I deleted all anonymous posts from the last page of this thread only. I did not analyze any post for content. I simply removed all anonymous posts. I thought this would be a better option than closing the thread.

I'm not interested in everyone's view. I don't, for example, have the slightest interest in listening to a neo-nazi rant on. I am interested in hearing the views of people who have interesting views. I have no interest in discussing anything with anyone who has nothing to say and needs to have their posts edited because they can't control their mouths.

I'd just like to state two opinions regarding this thread:
1. Both parties seem to be quote-happy. There is no need to quote the full body of the immediately preceding post.
2. The last two pages are an argument over who called who what. This thread has completely left the original topic and is no longer constructive. I'd say the time for closing it is long overdue.

I completely agree that it is past time this topic is closed, but Thomas would not like to see it closed because he would rather continue name calling and accusations, and being the Sheriff he can do that. He can insult me and try his hardest to provoke me, but as I have done over and over, I will respectfully ignore what I see as someone trying to create a conflict.
Thomas asked me why he should continue to post to me, and my answer is, "Don't". If all you do is try to provoke and further extend a conflict that should have been resolved a while back, then please do not post to me. I will post to other Java Ranch members, and you can post to other Java Ranch members. If we find ourself on the same topic, then perhaps we can just avoid directly replying to each other. I would rather not do this, but if you are so hurt or offended that all you can do is keep repeating why you are right and I am wrong, then I think that may be the only option.
The thing is, I think if we could get back to the original topic the discussion would be much nicer.
I believe one poster said it best, "THE HORSE IS DEAD!!!"
