4. It's sad, but it's true.
Do you agree?

1. I am the one who is discriminated against when seeking a college education because of my upper caste status.. where is the debate about oppression then?

So if invaders can not be 'Indian' even after 5000 years.
(I have my own doubts about Aryan invasion Theory...mind it It is still a theoryA note on various theories)
Then why Sonia is an 'Indian' she became citizen only in 1984?
At the threshold, a constitutional question arises and this has to be
satisfactorily resolved. Every Prime Minister has to be a member of
Parliament and the 84th Article of the Constitution prescribes
citizenship of India as the necessary qualification. The 5th Article defined
who became Indian citizens on 26th November 1949:--
"5. Citizenship at the commencement of the Constitution. - At the
commencement of this Constitu-tion, every person who has his domicile in the
territory of India and -
(a) who was born in the territory of India; or
(b) either of whose parents was born in the territory of India; or
(c) who has been ordinarily resident in the territory of India for not less
than five years immediately preceding such commencement, shall be a citizen
of India".
The next five Articles qualify the leading Article in some way or the other.
The 11th Article then proceeds to declare that Parliament is free to make
provision with respect to acquisition and
termination of citizenship and all other matters relating to citizenship.
The 17th entry in the Union List of the 7th Schedule confirms the exclusive
power of Parliament to legislate on citizenship
naturalisation and aliens.
Mrs Sonia Gandhi is a naturalised alien. It is true that naturalised aliens
also become citizens of India by taking the prescribed oath of allegiance
but this became legally possible only in 1955 when
the Citizenship Act was enacted for the first time. Till then the only
citizenship known to Indian Law was the one arising under Article 5
reproduced above. The Hon'ble Home Minister of India,
Shri LK Advani is a citizen of India pure and pristine by virtue of Article
5 of the Constitution; Sonia Gandhi is not.

It is used shamelessly by newspapers to boost their sales; If you look, for instance, at an average Times of India front page, it proposes to its readers lots of cricket, quite a dose of sex, some scandals, Bollywood gossip and very little of politics. The Times of India thinks it is wooing the young and hep in this way, but in the long run, a national newspaper of this stature which offers nothing of substance is committing suicide.
If you look closely at this tiny ad, you will see five bicycles and a naked woman:
