Dear Friends
I have one doubt in java WebStart. Whenever i opened a fileoutputstream in my application which is java WebStart enabled it throws access denied exception. How can i avoid this.

Use jarsigner tool to sign your application and then try it. Local access may be allowed with signed(trusted) application jars.

Is it possible to achive this without signing the jar becz signing the jar is not possible in my application. I want to use the Java WebStart in different way.

In what way are you trying to use Webstart?

you can use the JNLP API to access local disc from an usigned jar. the user will be prompted on every "unsecure" action.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
