Hello, sometime ago I posted asking how to make my jnlp apps run on computer startup on jre's that weren't java 1.5 based. well, this is the info I just found from the vamphq site. To make your application run on startup this is what you do:
In your jnlp file you will see the application-desc tag, it is normally closed in one tag. uncheck the close character, so your final application-desc tag looks like this:

<application-desc main-class="Login">
<argument>
javaws.cfg.cache.dir=C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Start Menu/Programs/Startup
</argument>
</application-desc>

So, add the argument tag and select which folder you want to add the application to. All credit goes to the guys at vampHQ , this is not due to my genius or anything.

Hello,
excuse my english, it's very bad
but I try to explain my problem..

i read that i can put
<application-desc main-class="es.rba.RBAGestionComercial">
<arguments>
javaws.cfg.cache.dir=C:\tmp\JWS
</arguments>
</application-desc>

for install my application in this path, but this no solution my problem.
What can I do? I have anything wrong?
The tag arguments, are arguments for the application no? no for de deployment that makes Java Web Start...?...

I've read too that you can add this line javaws.cfg.cache.dir=C:\tmp\JWS to "Java Web Start\javaws.cfg" but it does no have effects
This file, javaws.cfg, is for initial configurations?
There are other file javaws.cfg for user configuration? Where? i can't find..
What of both files it has more priority?

Thanks!!
