I have an webstart application coded on and compiled using j2sdk 1.4.

User's pc used to have jre 1.4 installed. User will need to login to our web application (via a proxy) and click on the hyperlink to launch this webstart application.

On jre 1.4, the user is able to launch the webstart application.

Recently user upgraded their jre to version 1.5. Since then, user is not able to launch the java webstart application.

Has anyone encounter something similar to the above and how is the issue resolved?
