Hi
I would like to see a feature added to the forum to bookmark some posts, as that would help to keep track of a particular post, because many a times i have lost track of the post I have answered to & doing a search is cumbersome.
Hope other would have a similar view too.
cheers

You can just hit CTRL + D to bookmark any page, it works with IE and netscape.

I would like to something like my favourites implemented in javaranch.
Manish, the problem with book marking is that the links are available only a particular machine. if i log in using a different pc the links are not available

I get around this by saving all my bookmarks using Yahoo! Bookmarks. Log into Yahoo! Go to your My Yahoo! Page and you'll find a bookmarks section there.

I would surely like to see something that would help me to keep track of my post or my "favourite" topics.
Could this be implemented ?
Hope I am clear...

With what the UBB we have now you could watch your own posts by going to your profile and clicking on the link "view recent posts".
Maybe not as nifty as a "my javaranch" feature but anyway...

Yeah. What he said. Totally. Wait. What? Sorry, I was looking at this tiny ad:
