Hee
I have got an application where there are DELL and NT systems , the former at the server side and later at the client side. For the intranet(T1 line) i need a response time <= 2 seconds and for the internet <=10 seconds.
Which technology among JSP,CORBA,SERVLETS,ASP and webservers(IIS,Apache etc) should be used to acheive this response time?
Please help me as i am in a hurry
Thanks in advance
Indira.

Hi
It doesn't matter which technology you pick. If your project is built badly you will not get those response times anyway. You should pick a technology for what it can do for you, not becuase it fits into a cookie cutter 'I need a fast technology'.
I may own the nicest, open source, aerodynamic screwdriver in the world, it doesn't mean I will use it to pound nails into a wall.. for that I'll go get a hammer.
Each of the technologies you mention have pros and cons that I think are a bit too numerous for me to get into here. There are alot of resources on the web that will do comparisions of each of these for you.
If you are really worried only about response time you will just have to pick a technology that can satisfies the project needs and where you have the most resources that can use that technology. Then it's a question of using that technology to it's best ability.
Just my humble opinion.
Hope this helps.

Can you give us more details of what your application needs to do? To help you select a technology we really need a bit more information.
