Hi,
Does anyone know of any freebie software for load testing a web site?
I need to know if my software will scale.
Thanks

Here is an IBM solution they have made freely available. very recently. I have not used it yet.
Here is the link to a tutorial, how to use it:

::: Using IBM Web Performance Tools to stress test the Web :::
The IBM Special Events Web Solutions team builds Web sites and
infrastructures to support some very high volumes of traffic, including
those associated with major sporting events around the world. How do
they ensure high perfomance on these sites? With Web Performance
Tools, a set of utilities used exclusively within IBM for years and now
available as a free download from IBM alphaWorks. Take this tutorial
to learn how to put Web Performance Tools to work to stress test your
Web servers, Web sites, and Web applications.

Please don't wake up 7-year old posts, especially when the software you are asking a question about is merely mentioned in passing. I doubt that anyone is still checking this thread for updates.
