Hello,
I'm trying to use ejp for the first time. But i can't even compile the tracer tool first.
I run
make -f solaris.mk
However I get the error "jvmpi.h: No such file or directory"
Is this file a part of j2se sdk? Or is it provided by the creators of ejp?
Not sure if this is to correct forum but I thought I'd give it a shot. Any info would be helpful
Thanks!
Spencer

It's in JAVA_HOME/include . This has to be in the include path for compiling the C files; something like
-I/opt/j2sdk1.4.2/include
I have never tried ejp (see http://ejp.sourceforge.net/, for those who don't know what it is) but presumable either their Solaris makefile is broken, or you haven't correctly configured the build to tell it where your JDK is. You may need to edit the makefile.

Thanks for your suggestion and for including the link.
I still haven't tried the tool but have heard good things.
The problem I specifically had was that I couldn't find include directory. Is it a part of the SDK 1.4 (for solaris) download? Or do I have to install it separately.
