I was wondering if someone knew the GC differences between HotSpot '-client' mode versus '-server' mode? I know -server mode has a slower startup time but better performance over time in server situations than -client mode. But I also understand there are garbage collection differences.

Can anyone suggest a good resource in understanding the differences between these two modes?

Thanks!
