Hi,
I m using jsr 168 portlet for my application, which was earlier implemented using spring framework. I used HttpRequest.getRequestURI to get the previous page name(eg: index.jsp). Is there a way I can get access to the uri which has the name of the jsp in case of PortletRequest.

Thanks,
Shiva

The API does not have such a method. Although it doesn't make sense, as you deal with portlets, not servlets tied to a URL which a client can request (a portlet is not mapped to a URI, so you do not gain anything even if you could decode the actual HTTP request method).

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I used HttpRequest.getRequestURI() in the appplication using the Servlets. I would like to know is there any similar way to get the url as I could decode and get the jsp page where the action was posted from. Thanks

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
