Any help is very much appreciated.

I'm trying to share session data between a Portlet and Servlet, and I am receiving a null object every time I launch both the portlet and the servlet and attempt to retrieve a session attribute.

Extra information: Using Liferay, server: Tomcat 5.5, Portlet and servlet live in the same war file....

Thanks in advance.
