I finally figured out how to share session data. Now I have a new issue. I have a servlet that is fully functional and I would like to create a portlet that is identical to the servlet. Can I use a portlet as my container and allow the servlet to perform its duty inside it, or will I need to recreate a new portlet?

Happy Holidays,

You might want to check out the Ajax portlet. The Ajax Portlet actually calls on a Servlet to do it's work for it. It's pretty slick. Only thing is, the Servlet must be in the same war file.
