Hi,

Could you tell me the cause of this exception and how i can resolve it?
javax.servlet.UnavailableException: Initialization of one or more services failed

It generally means that a servlet's init method threw an exception. Check the log files, something should be in them that points to the reason.

init will certainly trigger this, but problems in my doView method have resulted in this as well.

There's an exception being thrown somewhere - I'm pretty sure of that. Track it down and maybe we can give you some further assistance.
