Good Morning All,

I am new to this Forum . This is my first post. I am learning Portals using RAD 6.0, Websphere Portal V5.1 , JSR 168 Portlets .

I have installed RAD 6.0 and Webpshere Portal Server V5.1 from IBM PartnerWorld . I have tested JSR 168 Portlet application succesfully with the 5.1 test environment.

I logged into http://localhost:9081/wps/myportal
using 'wpsadmin' user. Once after the login was done , I can see some problem in the 'welcome ' label. There are Portlets like 'My Weather'.'My Stocks', 'My News','Bookmarks'.

But for 'My Weather'.'My Stocks', 'My News' portlets I can see like 'This portlet is unavailable. 'in Red

Can any one of me suggest me what might be the issue . Is there some thing wrong in installation of websphere portal server V5.1. Please suggest me .

Thanks in advance.

I found the issue .

solution : go into the portal server config in rad, go to the portal tab and click on enable base portlets for administration

then restart

Thanks,

Thanks for the update, greenhorn.

It's kind of you to post the solution as well. Plenty of people come to posts like these that only post the problem. It's nice to share the solution as well.
