Is there any discussion in the book about Liferay and specific app frameworks such as Struts and/or Spring? I have been using documents available from Liferay site when implementing custom portlets on Struts. The documents are just good enough for me to go on with the Struts on Liferay, though there are no advanced topics discussed in them.

I don't think this is available in the book. In the "What you will learn from this book" section in the book's page, it doesn't mention any application/web frameworks. It only mentions alfresco, which is a content management system.

Thanks for your response, Jonas. By "in brief", will it cover more than Liferay Portlet Frameworks from Liferay site? Because I have been longing for some documents that cover Struts on Liferay.
