After much playing around with generating the certificate with the keytool, and various configurations of the JBoss server.xml, I finally succeeded in getting JBoss to stop blowing up completely and open the JBoss home pages on port 8443. When I attempt to open my app, Firefox attempts to download it as a file. I should note this app uses Seam as well. I get a dialog box asking what program Firefox should use to open the file with (.seam file). The path to open my app is something like this: https://localhost:8443/myapp/home.seam
Internet Explorer loads a blank page with 4 little squares at the upper left corner (binary symbols). I am on track to getting this right but something is still amiss here! I've tried searching the web on this and found nothing remotely close to the same issue. Thanks much in advance, Anne
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
