TCP/IP Communication

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
hi Guys,
- I have a TCP/IP application. There is a server
running on a machine. There are couple of class files
located on the same machine.
- I have a client running on another computer.
- My requirement is to make the client call the
server and the server in turn invokes different
methods from local (to the server) classes and returns
results back to the client.
- I am in the process of deciding a way for the
client to inform the server which method to invoke.
One of the problems i see is different methods could
have different signatures.
- I would like to seek your ideas/suggestions on this
part. What is the best way to accomplish this.
- I do not want to use RMI for this application.
Thanks in advance
Sudhakar
