SMTP mail............???  RSS feed

Hi Everybody,
I want to ask how do u create an SMTP email using JAVA MAIL API as when i tried using the mail api i am getting this error :Exception in thread main java.lang.noclassdeffounderror: javax/activation/datasource at mail.java:45"
Can somebody please tell me where am i going wrong..

The JavaMail API requires that you have installed the JavaBean Activation Framework

If u r working on JSP, U hav to copy mail.jar,activation.jar,smtp.jar,mailapi.jar,pop3.jar in ur Web Server Library.
And if u r working in JBuilder u hav to embed these jar files in Projects Library.
U can find these jar files from java.sun.com's JavaMail component.But not activation.jar which is for beans u hav to search it on java.sun.com site.

Hi Ali,
I tried adding mail.jar, activation.jar, smtp.jar, pop3.jar, mailapi.jar to webserver library... but it didn't work... please help on this.
