I am writing an application that will create an XML file and send it as an HTTP request. How can I do this without writing the XML file to disk and retrieving it? In other words, how can I keep the XML file in the memory space of the process I am writing until I send it using HTTP POST?
Thanks,
Richard

I've done this before using a servlet that returned a content-type "text/xml" rather than the standard 'text/html'.
(I think thats the xml mime type, it was a while ago)
Hope that helps,
Dave.
