Hi,
I am trying to write a simple web server using sockets (ServerSocket and Socket). I have managed to handle both GET and POST requests. On a different machine, I have set up a proxy which hands off all requests to the web server I developed. I am able to browse the internet on the second machine. The problem now is signing on to web sites like hotmail, yahoo and so on. An error is reported on the screen saying "Browser does not support cookies". How do I solve this problem ?
Thanks
Nikhil

You have to implement the cookie RFC:

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
