Hi, there:
I have a question. I want to create a java server socket application which listen to a certain port say 1111. Can other window application (say, written in Delphi) connect to this java application through TCP/IP, and get communication work?
Thanks a lot
David

Hi, Dorj:
Thank you very much for your reply. However, the problem is: I sent a text string from my window application (written in Delphi), but the java server socket didn't receive the correct string. Although the length is correct, values are quite strange. I doubt is that because different encoding system used by Java and Windows?

You may already know this, but I just want to say:
to get reliable communication between programms written in different languages, use Corba!
