Hi everybody,
I have a FTPClient that works perfectly on a stand alone PC, connecting through a dial up account. But now I need to use it on a LAN, probably connecting through a firewall. Can anybody tell me how I should do this? I do not yet know what resctrictions the firewall makes, but provided that the firewall allows at least for passive mode FTP and my client is able to go passive, it should be possible, right? The code I have for the FTPClient does not implement using a firewall, so I have to improvise. But, HOW?

Hi,
You will need to set up your Ftp client to support passive mode. Look at RFC 1579 for details.
