getting URLconnection when the client is behind a proxy  RSS feed

HI,
I want to write a java client which connects toa praticular server and download a file. How will I get the URLConnection when I am behind a firewall ?
Anybody pl suggest.

Off the top of my head, set the http.proxyHost and http.proxyPort system properties. If you have an authenticating proxy, it's a bit more complicated than that because you've got to code authentication callbacks.

To get authentication use this class

Now call the class before making urlconnection
