I have written an inhouse browser for our visually impaired agents. When it was implemented, they are getting an java.net.SocketException trying to load a page.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?
I am already using the following code:
Security.addProvider(new com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.Provider());
System.setProperty("java.protocol.handler.pkgs", "com.sun.net.ssl.internal.www.protocol");
As well as overridding the TrustManager.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
