Hi,
I have a problem when trying to connect to the server. I am trying to connect to an URL with this code:
Url u=new Url("dfd");
After downloading for about 1 minute, it is giving an exception.
The exception it's giving is java.net.SocketException Connection reset.
Another query is:How do I save to the cache the HTML file I download from a remote database?
Please reply immediately. It's urgent folks!!!
Thanks
Bye
Jyothsna.

"Connection reset" means there was an error down at the link layer: the remote machine closed the connection, or there was some other low-level network error. Not much you can do about this in your code; a bad connection is a bad connection.
As to your second question, you'd have to explain what you mean by "the cache." A proxy cache? The document cache your browser uses? Which browser? What operating system? In general, if you mean any of these, then the answer is very specific to the particular situation; there's no "standard cache."
