Hello,
I want to connect to a unix server using port thru telnet and run a command to get some info. I know the username and password and i can establish a connection in my java program. the problem is i dont when to send the username and password to the output stream or how to perform the usual login operations in the program. usually if going thru a telnet session, the server requests the username, and after the password. how can i automate that in my program. also how can i interpret what the server is sending to my program thru the socket
thanks.
james
