Hello,

I actually have to develop a system to transfer files to a remote server and to unzip them remotely but I don't know which is the best method to do it (FTP or HTTP transfer, libraries to use ...).

Can anybody inform me for the most standard way to do it ?

There is no "most standard" way. Your implementation will depend on what services are avaliable on the server (FTP daemon? Will it accept HTTP POST of a file?), if there are firewalls between the server and client and so on. In any case, java.net.URLConnection will connect using either HTTP or FTP. Search this forum and you'll find plenty of examples. If you need more functionality, the Apache Jakarta Commons Project has HTTP and FTP clients available. Again, search is your friend.
