how to copy remote file from one directory to another on the remote machine itself through FTP ,
eg remote file C:\test\xyz.txt to C:\test2\

Can you issue a shell command through the FTP server (i.e. !<command> ? If so, just !mv the file. Otherwise your only alternative may be to download the file, delete the remote copy and then upload it to the destination directory.

i am trying to execute the command

gives error
'cp' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
cp command is working on qshell
if i try

gives error
The syntax of the command is incorrect.

any clue
