hi

i am getting this error

unable to locate tools.jar: expected to find it in C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_04\lib\tools.jarBuildfile: build.xml does not existBuild failed

i have appended my classpath to include C:\ant\lib\ant.jar;

then I appended my path with C:\ant\bin;

I then made a new variable and called it ANT_HOME and set the environment as C:\ant

I have followed the same procedure still i am getting the same error

The build file is not found. If you start Ant by typing "ant" at the command line, it expects the build.xml file to be in the same directory. If it is somewhere else, or named differently, you need to call Ant by typing "ant -f path/to/build/file.xml", thus specifying which build file to use.

Hi

Set the JAVA_HOME property to point the location
where the java is installed.....

Suppose your java is installed in c:\jdk1.5.0_04 then
set JAVA_HOME=c:\jdk1.5.0_04

and restart the system ........and see it works

enjoy
