hi all,

I am trying to copy a file from a ftp server and put it in my local computer using secured socket layer. i browsed the net for "ftp using ssl", but have'nt got much information. can anyone tell me how to start about it, is their any API for this? what are certificates, do i need them?

if anyone could tell me the procedure from scratch, it would be of great help for me.

thanks in advance.

Ashish
