Has anyone used the Java API for sending messages to clients?

Need the code for server broadcasting messages and clients waiting to receive these messages

If I pass an email address like "seetesh@yahoo.com", how can I send a voicemail notification to my email account "seetesh@yahoo.com"?

How do I get the Java API to talk to IM Gateway Servers to send IM notification messages?
