Hi Folks,

Any body has idea about HTTP procotol simulator available for playing with HTTP packets?

For example, I can configure it so that it intercepts HTTP packets between a Client IP (Browser) and Target Server IP?

thanks

There are several options depending on what you want to do.

A program like Ethereal lets you monitor all IP traffic that enters and exits your machine, and it understands enough of HTTP that it can re-assemble requests and responses.

If you don't actually want to go down to the TCP level, there are Firefox extensions like "Live HTTP Headers" and "Tamper Data" that let you monitor which HTTP requests and responses the browser sends and receives. Tamper Data can also modify outgoing requests.
