Hi,
I am stuck up with a serious issue here. The problem I am facing is as follows:

I want a user(who possesses suffecient rights)to be able to retrieve hardware and software configuration of any computer in the network along with all the softwares installed in that computer(licenced and unlicenced versions including freewares too). i thought of RMI but then it takes permission from the client computer and thats not to be implemented. So kindly suggest me some alternative to go ahead and retrieve information from any computer network.

Thanks & Regards,
JENAL DHAR

Please do not post the same question multiple times. It causes confusion and duplication of effort as the community tries to help everyone.
