Hi,

I have a scenario with I have to make a TCP/IP connection on a specific port to a certain Destination. Is there any specific design pattern for managing connections of such sort, such as connection pooling etc or do we have to manage all those stuff ourself.

Thanks

You wanted to know the design pattern or an implementation of the same?
If design pattern, then, its what you said: connection pool
If implementation: Jakarta commons may give you some.
