openning an asp.NET page  RSS feed

Dear all , I need to open an asp.net page and get the info from it every second , how to do it in java .

You can use URL and HttpURLConnection to retrieve web pages from another server of any type - dot net, *nix, whatever. You can set up a java.util.Timer to repeat a task like that. Once a second might be faster than the page comes back, which can be confusing.

See if those are sufficient hints to start making something. Show us what you make. Code that almost works is A Good Thing on the ranch because it shows us exactly where you are stuck.

I know this bas what I want to do is to extract some data from that website.

In that case you need to tell us more about what exactly you're trying to do. The method Stan mentions gives you a stream from which the contents of the page can be read; so you have everything that's in that page.

In cases like these I tend to think of the jWebUnit library. It can access web pages and provides an API to access the page contents (e.g., forms, tables, links, text, etc.)
