when the existing connection becomes in-valid  RSS feed

why my connection is getting invalid after some time and it is returning null. please help me out.

That's what connections do. Stale connections are purged so servers don't get locked up with zombies. Either keep sending data back and forth to keep the connection alive (sometimes called a "heartbeat") or handle the socket exception and reconnect.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
