Hello All,

I have developed one web based java application. On the client(web browser) some times i see HTTP status code 400. This 400 error is not consistent. I have installed wireshark network monitoring tool to analyze the network packets.

All requests from the client are sent to one proxy servlet and then servlet forwards the requests to different servlets in system using
request.getRequestDispatcher(forwardURL).forward(request,response)

I can see packets information for the request from client to proxy servlet and response to client but i can't get any packet information for internal forwards using the tool. I want to check whether the forward request is causing any problem.

Is there any way to get packet information for the forwarded requests using the wireshark tool or any other tool.

Thanks,
Sai

I don't think so because the forwarding does not happen on TCP/IP-level but inside of the servlet container. So the data is not transferred over the net but just in memory - like a simple java method call.
