I have added the ssl config to tomcat & added a security constraint on my login page to the web.xml. The ssl seems to be working fine however, I have to submit 2x on my login page. It appears that the first submit redirects the page to the ssl port, then the second time submits the page itself. How do I get it to do 1 submit? Also, I thought that there was a way to hide the fact that it is redirecting to https:8443 (the address changes on redirect). Thanks!

I use apache's mod-rewrite to make it invisible.
