We've developed a chat application using RMI.. We want to make this chat application work thru the internet. Can somebody give a detailed suggestion on this?

Hi,
Java allows u to run system commands hopefully through runtime classes(not sure check it out)..
If ur server is on windows platform u can create a batch file and call it thru java at first execution..
If server is on linux platform a script with executable permission will work...
I m not very sure but hope this could work...
