Not to go picking too much on free advice, but there are eight reviews on Amazon, and 7 of them are pretty negative, for beginner and advanced readers alike.
Maybe you could say a few words about what makes this book a good read for you?

Another book that is new (June 2001) and getting some decent reviews is: Java.rmi : The Remote Method Invocation Guide by Esmond Pitt and Kathleen McNiff.
